C'mon!?! No, really, they all walk into this moment in March between St. Patrick’s Day and the Vernal Equinox. A story can be told of this powerful time of year, especially 2017's Fire Rooster year. Hold on to your hats and get ready to go!
2017’s Vernal Equinox (March 20), as one of the balance points in the year (Yin & Yang are balanced, equal day & night), is definitely not static. I'm sure you sense that. It’s dynamically balanced as the moment between breaths is balanced: vital with all potential. As we tip our way toward new growth and re-generation, Yang is rising, Yin is waning; the time of action develops and grows. Energy rises up out of winter’s hibernation to be born again into manifestation and action in a new year, a new cycle. Spring belongs to the Wood element within Chinese cosmology, the sphere of initiating, growing, rising up, as well as the attribute of justice. Wood element cannot be held back from being born and transitioning to the next cycle, the next incarnation any more that spring or new babies can be held back.
Move into this season of renewal, harness the inherent Power and Strength of Mars. Roman god Mars, ruler of March (first Roman month), originally governed fertility and agriculture, new growth and procreation: life! Ride this wave of natural and powerful vitality, dedicate to your unique vision (passion, path, life’s work) in the way St. Patrick did, dedicated to spreading the truth of his own vision.
Now more than ever, what do you have to say? What moves you to action? What is ready for birthing?
EVERYTHING IS WAITING FOR YOU
Your great mistake is to act the drama as if you were alone.
As if life were a progressive and cunning crime with no witness to the tiny hidden transgressions.
To feel abandoned is to deny the intimacy of your surroundings.
Surely, even you, at times, have felt the grand array; the swelling presence, and the chorus, crowding out your solo voice.
You must note the way the soap dish enables you, or the window latch grants you freedom.
Alertness is the hidden discipline of familiarity.
The stairs are your mentor of things to come, the doors have always been there to frighten you and invite you, and the tiny speaker in the phone is your dream-ladder to divinity.
Put down the weight of your aloneness and ease into the conversation.
The kettle is singing even as it pours you a drink, the cooking pots have left their arrogant aloofness and seen the good in you at last.
All the birds and creatures of the world are unutterably themselves.
Everything is waiting for you.
